INFANT 9-1-1:

Learn infant CPR, AED, and choking hands-on skills with Coach Allison who is an instructor with the American Red Cross. This is a non-certified course of which will help parents learn the basic skills to recognize and care for infant emergencies.

Due to space we must limit the number of attendees per class and will continue working to open up more dates for our most popular sessions. We ask that if you register for a class, please attend or cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the event so another parent on our wait list may take your place. Due to the high number of no-shows at these FREE events effective immediately a no-show fee will be charged to your credit card on file. The following charges will apply:

Adult and Pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certification course:

Receive your adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED certification with Coach Allison who is an instructor with the American Red Cross.
This course is a blended learning course including an online portion and a classroom skill session. The online portion MUST be completed prior to attending the in-class portion. Allow 2.5 hours to complete the online portion. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric first aid/CPR/AED of which is valid for two years.

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA- PERSONAL FITNESS MERIT BADGE:

Receive your Personal Fitness Merit Badge now with our Merit Badge Counselor and Health Coach Allison. With her help, each scout will reach a new understanding of what personal fitness means and all components involved. After completion, each scout will receive their signed off merit badge application to turn into their troop leader.

BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA- FIRST AID MERIT BADGE:

Receive your First Aid merit badge now at Potomac Pediatrics with coach Allison, our Merit Badge Counselor, Health Coach, and First aid/CPR/AED instructor with the American Red Cross.

What is First Aid? Help given to a sick or injured person until full medical treatment is available.

Your scout will identify, discuss, explain, and demonstrate all requirements for this first aid badge.

Each scout will receive a first aid kit that includes:

  • 6 Adhesive bandages
  • 1 pair of gloves
  • 2 3-by-3-inch sterile gauze pads
  • 1 roll of adhesive tape
  • 1 3-by-6-inch moleskin
  • 1 travel size of hand sanitizer
  • 1 tube of triple antibiotic ointment
  • 1 pair of medical scissors
  • 1 CPR breathing barrier
  • 1 pencil
  • 1 note pad

Course running time will depend on participation. Allow 4-4.5 hours
