Dr. Pedoeim is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She was born in Rockville, Maryland and has been a local to the DC-area ever since. After graduating from the University of Maryland Honors Program, she attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore where she received the Ambulatory Pediatrics Award, and then completed her residency at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. with an additional certificate in medical education. Prior to joining Potomac Pediatrics, Dr. Pedoeim worked as a Critical Care Associate in the Children’s National Hospital Pediatric ICU and since has a particular interest in the care of medically complex patients. She resides in northwest Silver Spring with her husband and in her spare time enjoys cooking, travel, and re-visiting the Smithsonian museums.
