Introduce allergens in a controlled environment under the supervision of one of our experienced triage nurses – Nicole Marchand, RN – at one of our upcoming Peanut Butter Parties! Nicole has experience on both side of this issue – not only is she a pediatric nurse with experience in both the ICU and outpatient settings, but she is also the parent of a child with food allergies. With her background, she is s uniquely equipped to guide you through this allergen introduction journey!
In the unlikely event that your child has a reaction, Nicole will evaluate and treat your child if necessary and provide guidance for home monitoring.
Recent studies suggest the early allergen introduction is very importance for food allergy prevention. We recommend that all babies be exposure to common food allergens around 6 months of age!
