Dr. Mechak is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Mechak was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. He attended Magruder High School and then Villanova University where he obtained a B.S. in Biology and was a member of the varsity swim team. He attended medical school at The University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Virginia where he also served as Chief Resident. Outside of work Dr. Mechak enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, cheering on the Commanders and Villanova Wildcats, hiking, and traveling.
